This elegant candle holder is made from fused glass. In Jewish tradition a 24 hour memorial (Yahrzeit) candle is lit on the anniversary of death of a close relative and on certain Jewish holidays when the Yizkor prayer is recited. These candle holders were designed to enhance this tradition allowing the memory of a loved one to be honored in a more beautified fashion.
This candle holder would be a perfect way to enhance your own memorial experience or to send to a friend going through a mourning process to express your sympathies.
NEW LIMITED EDITION:
On one corner a Magen David (star of David) with the Hebrew word יזכור (remember) is fused onto the glass.
The glass is kiln fired at high temperatures to fuse the pieces together and then draped over a mold and fired again to create an artistic draping form.
These candle holders come in a variety of colors. As in handmade art, no two are exactly alike.
